Pictures From our Trip to MO Part 1

I know it's been a while since I've blogged. I'm sorry. I've been busy and distracting...er distracted.

Here are some pictures from our August trip to Missouri to go see grandparents and everyone else too.

It was a tough trip. We had to drive 7 hours to the airport
and then we had to take 2 different airplane rides overnight. Here's me looking all cute and cuddly asleep in Mom's arms on the plane. Mom's just looking grumpy and sleepy.

We landed in Kansas City at 8 in the morning.

We had breakfast with Grandma Judy and then we drove with Grandma and Grandpa Nelson to St. Louis.

We stayed in St. Louis Saturday night with Grandma and Grandpa Beuhrig. I informed Grandpa B that he had a hummingbird problem taking over his back porch.

We got to meet Cousin Isaac.

On Sunday we went to Isaac's baptism.

I'm not into ceremony, yet. So I cleaned.
I cleaned the pews.

And Uncle Mike.

And Mom.

Here is Grandma Nelson, Me, Dad, Isaac and Grandma Beuhrig. Could we boys look any more bored? (Actually, what do you want to bet this picture will be found in Grandma Nelson's cubicle in the near future?)

I wasn't really bored, though. There were so many family members I recognized, but couldn't really remember. I was comfortable with many of them.

Here's a good picture of Daddy and I looking handsome together.

And a decent picture of Mom and I looking cute together.

There was a reception after the baptism at Grandma and Grandpa Beuhrig's home - I was pretty comfortable with everyone there. Mom had to come find me a couple of times because I'd stay away from her for so long. This is how she found me once.

I have been told that it is a family tradition to play with the Beuhrig family wooden coasters. Well, you know I hate to disappoint.

Babies seemed to be the theme of the trip. This is the 2nd one I found and she wasn't the last I would encounter before we left.

Sunday evening we drove back to Kansas City to stay with Grandma and Grandpa Nelson for a few days.

Grandpa let me use his cool hose to water the grass and plants.

It was a hot day and the water felt good.

Here I am spraying Mom - I got her pants all wet. It was funny.

Then Grandpa showed me how the hose coils up on its own. That's pretty cool.

I stepped in the mud, though, so Grandpa had to spray off my feet.

I returned the favor.

It's 3am, so this blog will have to end for tonight. I will add more tomorrow hopefully.

Comments:
That is great! Looks like you had fun. I really liked seeing you, even if you couldn't tell.

Vanessa, These are great shots. I hardly recognized Donovan, he has surely grown these last few months. Ah, but alas, it's been longer than that since I've seen you last. Sure hope you can visit your family in Florida sometime soon. With Love and Appreciation, Denise

Well I did'nt see any pictures of the rest of the trip. I'm guessing camera malfuntioning or something. I still love you guys. You look so happy Donovan. Can't wait to see you until next time.
