Dad, Cousin Austin, Aunt Kimmy and I

It was so good to spend time with Daddy.
It was even better than normal because he didn't have to go to work, so he was around more!
I also got to spend some time with some other kids I'm related to.
This is me and my Aunt Kimmy. She's about 7 months old now.
She also has really cool toys. And she has 2 TVs! And they're both bigger than the one we own!
She was trying to figure out how I am her nephew, but I got to be so much bigger than her. I told her it was because I am a boy.
But since I'm bigger, I can help take care of her. I gave her her pacifier.
I even helped her finish her water.
One day cousin Austin came over. He's three. But we're about the same size and we play together really well.
I played a little jazz for him to break the ice.
Then we chased eachother around the house like proper little boys do. It was a lot of fun.
It's funny, but because I am so big and I communicate so well, lots of people confuse me for being older than I am.
That's fine until people expect me to act like I'm a couple of years older than I really am. Then they get judgmental, mom has to defend me and gets angry at them and the whole thing falls apart.
I'm not done being a baby yet. I'm going to be 1 and a half in a week.
I'm also starting to take directions from Mom about when I should stop, shut doors, pick stuff up, clean up my messes and other things. I haven't mastered those things yet because they're all new lessons to me. I've been walking less than a year. Every day brings something new into my path.
Intellectually, I'm just starting to develop impulse control, so it's really hard for me to not touch things that interest me or run when I feel that surge of energy! Impulse control usually develops pretty well by the age of 3. But the average 18 month old has almost none.
The worst part is when people tell Mommy that she should hit me when I don't behave like an older kid.
Mommy and Daddy say it isn't right for anyone to hit anyone.
For those who might argue with the idea that I shouldn't be acting like a 3 year old yet , keep in mind that I'm closer in age to Kimmy than Austin.
