Phrase the Day

I spoke my first phrase today. Well, it was technically a fragment, but it works. After Daddy left for work this morning, and Mommy was taking me upstairs to try to get me to go back to sleep, I told her, "Ba Ba, Da Da" Which she interpreted to be "Bye, Bye, Daddy" like she had been saying with me at the window just a few moments before.

Today was otherwise pretty boring.

Mom and I just hung out around the house because Mom said we needed to rest a bit to heal completely from my sickness.

I still had a couple of stinky stinky diapers, but Mom changed them pretty quickly.

I spent some of the day waking the dog up. He sleeps enough that this is an activity available to me almost any time I want to partake.

I spent some of the day eating. But my appetite is not what it used to be yet.

Also, I had very little patience for my high-chair today. Usually I like it, but today I just wanted to move around.

And when I got bored with climbing things I shouldn't and emptying Mom's bag of bags not once...

Or twice....

But three times...
I tried to do somersaults. I bent over and put my hands down and looked through my legs. When Mom saw what I was doing, she came over to help me get the rest of me rolling. Since Mom and Dad had to spot me, they didn't get any pictures taken. They said they were too wrapped up in the moment to remember to grab the camera.

I enjoy it pretty well, though. I'll give them another opportunity.
