Last weekend our family went to Portland, Oregon for a Mary Kay training. Dad and I got to spend lots of quality time together.

On the way up we stopped at a rest stop to stretch. We met this guy with a drum who was going to a drum circle at the fair-grounds somewhere in Southern Oregon. He played his drum for me. It was great! Maybe I'll get Mom and Dad to buy me a drum with my birthday money.

In the hotel room, Daddy and I read and watched TV and spent quiet time, but I didn't like sitting around doing nothing if I wasn't nursing, so Daddy took me to the Children's Museum. That was great fun!







I got to play in an enchanted forest.

I got to play with lots of neat instruments and other children.


Daddy even painted my face for me!

It was a great way to spend the afternoon.
