My First Big Boy Haircut

Mom has had to trim my bangs twice before, but today we got all of it done.

Mom's friend, Holly was the one who did my hair.
She put me on a booster seat in her chair and put a big black "superman cape" over me.

Then she started spraying me with some water.

It was amusing for the first few sprays.

Finally, when all my hair was wet, she stopped.

Then she started combing it.
I've never held still this long before, by the way.
Then Holly started cutting. This was about the time I stopped thinking it was so fun.
Not like it was scary or anything,
...but it just got boring.
I started getting squirmy, so Mom had to step in and hold me in her lap in the seat.

Holly spent lots of time getting the back just right.
Then she spent some time over my ears.
Then a little bit of work on my bangs...
and the sides...
Then she squeezed my head.
Dad says I look like Winston Churchill in this photo.
I don't get it.
You know...
When all is said and done,
It wasn't that terrible of an experience.
And it looks pretty good, too.
If I may say so, myself.
