Just Another Day

This morning I played a little bit with my bat and ball.

Mom says I only get to play with it inside for a couple of days. Then it's going to become an "outside toy."

I like it really well, though. The ball is just another ball, but this bat is for hitting things! It's awesome!

After lunch Mom and Rusty and I went for a walk and forgot the camera. I decided to try puddle jumping. That's why I'm not wearing any pants, socks or shoes in the rest of the photos.

I also tried to eat some of the grass and flowers. Mom wasn't cool with that so we had to come home.

That's okay, because when we got there, and after Mom dried me off, she gave me some goldfish crackers.

I shared my goldfish with Alex.

Of course, Rusty helped clean up whatever Alex missed.

I didn't get to eat very many crackers myself, but that's okay. Sharing isn't about how much you get for yourself.

I can't figure it out, but it didn't take long for me to get hungry again.

This time, Mom made sure I couldn't share by putting me in the high-chair.

That's okay. I like pears so much that I wouldn't want to lose any to the pets.

After my snack, I helped with the laundry.

The great thing about having a dog around is that I don't have to sit in a dirty diaper as long before someone notices.

Sometimes I sign to tell Mommy I need a change, but sometimes I'm too busy.

That's where Rusty comes in.

Of course, Mom said, since I enjoyed that puddle so much this afternoon, that I better enjoy a bath this evening.

Splashing in the bathtub is almost as fun as splashing in the mud puddles.

Here's another one of those moments where Mom thinks I look A LOT like Daddy.

Sometimes, though, my curiosity can get in the way of carefree fun.

For example, I thought the plug and ducky would be fun to play with together, but without the water, it's just not the same.

Hi Donovan,
It looks like you are having fun these days. Learning new stuff every day.(like puddle jumping) I still like to do that sometimes.

We love you! Give Mommy and Daddy a kiss from Grandma and I.
