A Boy and His Dog

This morning I tried to share my waffle with Rusty. Mom didn't like that idea, so she took it away from us. It was only a snack, anyway. I had had enough to eat at breakfast, so I wasn't heartbroken.

Rusty was. He likes waffles.

What more could a guy want than a good companion and a remote control.

I'm not sure what the remote controls, but it makes me feel important.

Here I'm giving Rusty a percussion massage.

He didn't seem to mind too much.

We should all be so pampered.

Hey, check out my new trick:

I got the diaper flap stuck on a blanket while climbing off of the couch and it opened up on the one side.

It was so liberating!
Mom didn't let me run around naked for long, though. She said she was afraid I'd go potty on the carpet. I think I could just go outside like the dog does.

Good doggy.

I'm still working on the fine line between hitting and petting. I can pet gently when I'm not too excited.

Both Rusty and Alex are very patient with me while I learn.

I am so lucky to have both a cat and a dog. They are great teachers and even better friends.
