Not So Bad For a Rainy Day

This morning we went to Toddler Time. It was lots of fun.
Charlie came right up to me and said, "Hi." He talks a little already.
Charlie, Lenny and I played in the fort.
It's neat to be up there, it makes us almost as tall as the mommies.
I tried to climb out through the slats. I got a little frustrated, but Mom reminded me that there was an easier way out. She stood by the stairs and helped me down.
Then Charlie and I played on the magnet board.
Then it was back to the fort. Here I am paying my taxes to the rightful king of the fort.
Then we played on the slide.

We took a nap when we got home, and then I helped Mom get the Tuna Helper supplies out of the refrigerator.
Then I watched Elmo while she cooked.
When lunch was ready she set me on a couple of pillowcases to eat. She said something about "damage control" before sitting down to her own meal.
I'm walking very confidently now. I already bump my head on the kitchen table when I try to walk underneath it. At least I didn't find that out accidentally by running into it. Walking into things is a little less unpleasant than running into things.
I liked the peas from lunch so much I got another serving of them later in the day. Of course the aftermath of this arrangement was beneficial to Alex, since he likes peas. Silly cat.
