A Weekend Of Excitement
Saturday Afternoon we went to a birthday party at the family resource center. It was lots of fun. I got to color. I colored with the red crayon (that's my picture, there) and I tried to eat the purple crayon.I look tired because I didn't get to nap until after the party.

I ate some animal crackers and some Ritz crackers with cheese and I got to try strawberries. They're good! Not as good as bananas, but only because Mom won't let me eat the strawberries completely independently. She doesn't like when I put the whole thing, even the green part, into my mouth.

I got to play with other children.
Here I am with Trilogy. We're discussing the party decor. We both approved. Jungle stuff is cool!

Especially Jungle balloons.
Then they brought out the cupcakes. That was a GREAT IDEA!

Even the mommies liked that idea. Everyone else got a candle on their cupcakes, but Mom said I didn't need one. She said I would try to eat it. Okay, honestly, I probably would. Especially since it would have frosting all over it.

Everyone was having so much fun, we sang a song together. Then the other kids & mommies made their candles go out & then we started eating.
The fun didn't stop there, afterwards, we all went into the playroom and got to play games. (Yes, this is AFTER cupcakes - someone was wise enough to bring baby wipes.)

I think I quite enjoy birthday parties. I'm going to ask Mom to give me one for my birthday.
That night when we got home, Mom had a bad headache, so she let me feed myself dinner.
...I was due for a bath, anyway.
Sunday we went to the grocery store. I was so good in the cart. Of course, it didn't hurt that Mom picked up a sample of a new cereal for me to munch on.
Also, I saw her put some bananas into the cart. That put me in a good mood right away. I offered to hold them, but I think she knew I was going to try to chew on them. Do you think I'm getting too predictable?
When we got back, we took a walk to the mailbox and spent some time outside. Then while Mom was unpacking and cooking I helped rearrange some furniture.
She baked a sweet potato and we shared it. She's buying bigger potatoes now because she knows I'm gonna need some of whatever she cooks for herself.
This evening Mom & I did some decorating in my bedroom.
I'm not quite sure what the use of this net thingy is, but it's pretty - and I'm sure I can find a way to amuse myself with it.
By the way, when getting ready for bed, it's important that you not only brush your teeth, but comb them, too.
