Feb 2, 2006

This morning I woke up early - but Mom wanted to keep sleeping. We argued about it a little bit, but then I used some sign-language to tell her I was hungry. Actually, the sign I used was "more", but that's the sign that gets used the most in reference to food around here.

My using sign-language makes Mom a happy lady, and Cheerios make me a happy baby.

Later I went next door to visit Dixie & Sue & their little dog, Buddy while Mom started some laundry.

She wasn't gone long and when she came back she made us a pizza. Well, actually, I only got to eat the crust because she said the garlic and tomatoes and peppers and cheese weren't the kinds of things she should be giving me just yet. I believe her because I tried a piece of the garlic skin that fell while she was cooking, and I can't say that I'll be reaching for that again.

After my nap, I woke up smiling. I like it when mom calls out, "Here I come," when she hears me waking up. It puts me in a good mood.

Mom put me in my stroller and we went down to switch the laundry around together. I thought it was funny when Mom threw the wet clothes into the dryer from all the way over by the washers. I took her lead and threw Cheerios all over the laundry room floor. She thought this was funny even though she had to pick them up.

When we got home, Mom did some gardening and I sat in my stroller and watched her. I kept throwing more Cheerios onto the ground. I'm hoping to grow a Cheerio Bush. I'm thinking right under the window.
