Another Happy Day

This morning Mom let me feed myself a little bit of cereal with a spoon. I didn't make as big of a mess as I could have, but that's okay. I made up for it later.
Instead of taking a nap with me this morning, Mom stayed up and folded yesterday's clean laundry. When I got up, she fed me a little of the oatmeal I hadn't finished with some green peas.
I asked for the spoon and when she gave it to me, I ran to the laundry pile and pretended to eat the laundry with the dirty spoon. I also took 2 pairs of clean pants and wiped my tray clean with them. I also left a puddle of oatmeal in a third pair of pants over there, we'll see if she ever figures out how I did that. Tee Hee.

Please, Mommy, don't stick the peas in my eye.

If she stepped out of sight, I'd just call her and she'd talk to me. If I really wanted to see her, all I had to do was be quiet for a moment or two. Then she would leap suddenly into view. I don't think that she minded that I laughed at her.

This evening was exciting because Mom received a Mary Kay box. There's always a bunch of little stuff I like to chew on in there, but the sport is in grabbing something while Mom isn't looking. Otherwise, she takes it away.
Mom says those things are important and need to be in good shape because they're helping to build our future.
I think that's fine but she still ought to let me chew on some of it. Don't you think?
