My First Blog

Hi Everyone!
Thanks for visiting my Blog.

There's so much going on in my life right now, I'm glad I get to share it with all of you.

For example, our family moved to California at the beginning of December, but we just got all of our furniture and stuff delivered a couple of days ago.

The boxes are great! First of all, they really change the landscape in here! Seccondly, they have all this great stuff in them - like one had pots & pans. Mom let me unpack that one for the most part. She's still finding all the neat places I found for the lids. The third thing that's great about these boxes is that when they're unpacked, they're a great place to put stuff, like banana segments, and Cheerios!

Yesterday I had a fever because I was teething. I have 6 teeth in already, but yesterday I could have sworn I was cutting 6 more! It still hurts today, but at least the fever is gone. I have less of an appetitie when I'm cutting teeth, so I gave some of my Cheerios to Alex this morning.

Speaking of Alex: we've got this stick with a feather at the end of a string, and I've learned that if I chase the cat down with it, and proceed to beat him with it, the cat seems to enjoy it. Strange creatures!

Well, it is kind of fun.

I'm working on saying "Kitty." I've got the "K" sound down, now I just have to add some vowels.

I'm also working on imitation right now. Yesterday I joined Mommy when she was giving Daddy a backrub. She was rubbing his back with one hand and holding me in the other, well I figured since Daddy was getting a discount backrub because of me, I better pitch in. And what's even greater is that I used BOTH of my hands to rub back and forth on his back.

I've started pointing to pictures and books like Mommy does, and when I want Mommy and she's gone away, I point to the door.

I'm getting pickier about what I eat as I age. A lot of times, whatever Mom is trying to feed me doesn't taste right until I'm feeding it to myself. I am starting to shake my head "no" until she hands over the bowl sometimes.

She doesn't always give in.
Wonder why?
